Mission Statement

Ubuntu Art Gallery aims to showcase artists from all walks of life with the common goal of sharing their unique passion for artistic expression.

Ahmed Dabaa (founder of Ubuntu Gallery) graduated from Cairo University and went on to complete the Sotheby's Decorative Arts program in London from 1990 till1991 before joining the family business specializing in antiques, carpets & decorative arts.
In 2000 completed a Master of Arts in Islamic Art & Architecture from the American University in Cairo. Co-writer with several authors in the books Abdeen Palace, The Jewel of 19th Century Cairo, El Tahra Palace & The Egyptian Diplomatic Club that were published by Cultnet.
Collecting and dealing in Modern and Contemporary Egyptian Art for the last 14 years has helped him build good relationships with different Egyptian artists and galleries
